2 MONCLER 1952 FOR MEN AND WOMEN

By Crash

Moncler Genius has shown its latest release at the end of Summer following a Moncler Genius World Tour concept, bringing Veronica Leoni and Sergio Zambon’s designs to the stage. The two Italian designers are at the core of the 2 Moncler 1952 line, named after the year the house was created. This season, Leoni’s designs for women focused on a mix of minimalism and punk with striking show-stopping details. Smart padded tailoring met with a moto-inspired puffer jacket with leather panelling, while bell-bottom knit pants peeked from a long fur-lined blush pink down jacket. Accessories were made in collaboration with Valextra and included large cross-body bags with fun puffer straps and week-end leather totes.

For men, Sergio Zambon made two worlds collide: the heritage of Moncler and the current youth culture. The attitude was laid-back and relaxed with printed sweatshirts, crisp white parkas and wide-legged jeans. But there were also some more striking pieces like a fuchsia wind-breaker with brown fleece or a black and white tie-dye puffer jacket. Zambon also decided to collaborate with artist Romon Yang aka ROSTARR on some of the jackets and knitwear.
