25th ANDAM FASHION AWARD ANNOUNCES THEIR FINALISTS FOR 2014

ANDAM (National Association Development of Fashion and Arts) was founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, and DEFI. The ANDAM mission is perhaps best articulated by the organization’s President, Mr. Pierre Bergé as he explained that ANDAM sought « to identify and support emerging talents of contemporary creation to ensure Paris’ continued place as the essential fashion capital. »

The seven finalists of the ANDAM Fashion Award are:

The promising group of young finalists were selected by 25 members of the jury, and through the support and generosity of ADNAM’s 13 private partners, the two winners of the competition will win a prize of €350,000. With the Grand Prix ANDAM Fashion Award earning the winner €250,000 and the First Prize Collections winner earning €75,000.

In addiction to funding by ANDAM, the winner of this prestigious prize will also receive sponsorship for two consecutive seasons, curtesy of Kering group CEO, François-Henri Pinault. Pinault will act as advisor in both the winner’s creative development and their business and commercial enterprise. The winner will also have an exclusive partnership with well-known online shop thecorner.com, as well as Canada’s most prestigious department store, the Hudson’s Bay Company’s agreement to buy the winner’s next spring-summer collection for 2014.

The role of ANDAM partners continues as each brand or company offers specific help and expertise in their varying fields. These prizes are offered to each of the seven finalists. The partners for the 25th Edition of the ADAM Fashion awards includes, Fashion GPS, Fondation Pierre Bergé Yves Saint Laurent, Galeries Lafayette, Hudson ‘s Bay Company, Kering , Longchamp , LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, OTB , Swarovski, thecorner.com , Tomorrow Ltd. The winners of both the Art and Fashion categories will be selected by the 25 members of the jury on July 3rd 2014.
