WE LOVE GREEN 2017

By Crash redaction

In the busy schedule of summer festivals, We Love Green has a singular role as it is perhaps the only one who truly commits himself to a cause by defending a vision of ecology today, or how to have fun respecting the environment and cultivating a positive conscience towards nature. And even if it is above all a question of music and an ultra seductive poster in terms of concerts, we don’t forget the Think Tank, with the ambition to discuss the latest mutations of a world in perpetual movement. Thus, we could meet Captain Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd, the economist Jeremy Rifkin and Wim Wenders … There is also design, with the head of the next workshop Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, which offers to young people creators a two-week residence to be able to implement creations that will be presented in June. Same for the questions of mouth with a jury led by the chef Thierry Marx to discover the gastronomy of tomorrow …

And of course, about music, a selection that borders on perfection, with the expected return of the hip hop pioneers A Tribe Called Quest, but also the presence of Solange who proved that she was more than Beyoncé’s sister, and the revelation Anderson. Paak, discovered on Dr Dre’s latest album. On the electronic side, the princes of the genre, Nicolas Jaar and Richie Hawtin. And a beautiful skewer of frankness: Agar Agar, Camille or Francis & The Atlas Mountains … Not to mention a nice tribute to David Bowie thanks to the Brazilian covers of Seu Jorge, colorful and sunny memories of Wes Anderson’s « The Aquatic Life »

Once again, We Love Green promises to be the most elegant event of the summer.
