BACKSTAGE AT KENZO SPRING-SUMMER 2015 PARIS

Purity. Denim. Future. On Saturday September 28th, the Kenzo Spring-Summer 2015 show took place at the Space Glide Parisian in the French capital’s 18th arrondissement. This gigantic skatepark hosted yet another ambitious collection yet from Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. For this collection, the designer duo was inspired by our immediate future, an idea was personified by the runway show’s virtual host: Knola, a girl from an out-of-time and era whose face appeared on big LED screens along with images of futuristic landscapes. « There is no planet B » Knola kept saying. On planet Kenzo, future is now and it is made of blue denim tea, broderie anglaise and loose silhouettes.
