MOSAERT BY STROMAE LAUNCHES ITS THIRD CAPSULE COLLECTION

Mosaert is a label born in 2009 by the initiative of Belgian singer Stromae. Based in Brussels, it focuses on music, multimedia production and ready-to-wear. Created with the purpose of maintaining independency in the artistic and creative industry, Mosaert’s productions for Stromae’s first two albums highly marked the pop culture of 2009-2010. Two years later, the Mosaert team started collaborating with Coralie Barbier, stylist and creative, who would help creating Stromae’s colourful and recognizable style as we know it today. Born from the singer’s wish of including African wax in its outfits, the collaboration between Moseart and Stromae was meant to last: a long graphic research with « Bold at Work » graphic designers led to singular visuals used for creating textiles now signature of Stromae’s second album « Racine Carée ». It is on this occasion that the label decided to create its first capsule collection for the public called « Capsule n°1 » made of polos and colourful socks. Following this success, the collections continued, taking an ethic direction and supporting unisex clothing models. The latest collection « Capsule n°3 » was released yesterday. Maintaining the house DNA, the collection is a sublimation of prints and ethical production but with a twist: a more completed line made of sport ensembles, socks, T-shirts and an all new experimentation with velvet fabrics.
