For his Spring-Summer 2017 collection with Moncler Gamme Bleu, American designer Thom Browne taps into the boyscout aesthetic and puts his tailored eye to use to create a series of uniform-inspired silhouettes. The collection is based on the iteration of a khaki theme, first in all over, then mixed with checked patterns, and finally a more formal brown. Chesterfield coats, trenchcoats, capes, and other pieces are designed with the finest technical fabrics for which Moncler is renowned for. Highly functional with multi-pockets on every piece (sometimes built to the extreme), the collection is definitely meant for the outdoors. Another big success for Thom Browne, who shows he is completely in line with what Moncler is all about.
