SAINT LAURENT INVITES BRET EASTON ELLIS FOR THE SELF PROJECT

By Crash

For the third installment of the project Self, Anthony Vaccarello has invited the American writer Bret Easton Ellis to direct a short film. After collaborating with the Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama and the artist Vanessa Beecroft, Saint Laurent showed Ellis’s film at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Called The Arrangement, it shows Hopper Penn, Tes Linnenkoper and Dakota Lindvall caught in a dangerous love triangle. Young love meets jealousy and lust, themes that are recurrent in Bret Easton Ellis’s books. Dressed in Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2019, the three protagonists get lost in toxic games in a dim-lit Los Angeles villa. Check out the video below.
