Two days ago was the reveal of Marco de Vincenzo’s very first menswear collection after ten years of dressing women all over the world under his own label – even if there were a couple of girls in the show that day. A show staged in a 19th century tropical greenhouse in Milan where models pranced around in fun and colorful looks. The first silhouettes were quite subdued with flowy beige pinstriped suits and cute wool polos worn with simple white sneakers, then came a myriad of prints: gingham, dots, a drawing of a feather… and lots of glitter everywhere! Whether it be on sequined shirts, lurex or a pair of glitter PVC shorts. The De Vincenzo man is fearless with his style and doesn’t shy away from more feminine pieces or textures. Extravagance was the key word and elements like rhinestones on suspenders really gave the silhouettes some pizzazz. Check out some of the looks below.
