For Spring/Summer 2021 Couture, Alphonse Maitrepierre did things a little differently, presenting his new collection in a whimsical animated video inspired by famous decorator and style icon Madeleine Castaing.

The French designer explains the way he crafted this collection and how the environment shaped it as well: « At that time, for the second time, we all found ourselves locked up at home again. I wanted to make silhouettes that spoke about confinement, but not in a sad or frightening way, quite the contrary. For weeks we watched videos of people dancing at home, going for a walk, playing sports, arranging their space, having fun. »
