GIVENCHY PRESENTS THE ANTIGONA BY MATTHEW M. WILLIAMS

By Crash

After showing you the new Givenchy S/S 2021 campaign, focus on one of the bags of the next season.

In 2021, Givenchy opened a new chapter for its famous Antigona line of accessories. The first Antigona, named after the courageous and passionate heroine of Greek mythology, celebrated its tenth anniversary last year. It is the House’s signature bag, admired for its architectural construction, its elegantly graphic lines, and the way it effortlessly combines masculine and feminine features.

For Spring/Summer 2021, Artistic Director Matthew M. Williams reinterprets this icon and takes it into a new era, combining the industrial metal elements he holds dear with the distinctive signs of Givenchy, and subtly infusing the elegant geometry of Antigona with more generous volumes, a modern attitude and a futuristic angle.

The Antigona will be available from February 26th in Givenchy stores and webstore.
