The Andam competition created by Nathalie Dufour has been rewarding young fashion designers around the world since 1989. The goal : to develop the fashion industry of tomorrow.

It is through 4 prizes that the candidates are rewarded: the Grand Prize, the Pierre Bergé Prize, the Fashion Accessories Prize and the Andam Innovation Prize. This year, in rather special conditions after a year of health crisis and for its 32nd edition, 14 finalists are in the running.

For the grand prize (€300,000 reward): Area, Bianca Saunders, Casablanca, GmbH, Ludovic de Saint-Sernin, Rokh & Wales Bonner.

For the Pierre Bergé Prize (€100,000 reward): Charles de Vilmorin, Egonlab., Ester Mans & Uniforme.

For the Fashion Accessories Prize (€50,000 reward) : Aswad, Published By, Samuel François 

In addition to the financial rewards, the grand prize winners benefit from a one-year accompaniment from fashion professionals and companies such as Google for their future insertion in their new lives. 

This year, the guest jury is made up of prestigious fashion and art personalities from all over the world such as Chris Lee, Kerby Jean Raymond or Sally Singer. Also, permanent members such as Bruno Pavlovsky, Guillaume de Seynes, Cédric Charbit (the competition mentor) and Phoebe Philo, well-known for her remarkable work for Chloé and Céline are present. 

The main goal of the contest is to make Paris an epicenter of fashion, even more so than it is now. Indeed, the winners of the contest are committed to setting up their brand in Paris after receiving their grant.

The winners of the 2021 edition of the competition will be announced on July 1st.
