The Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art will host the first major exhibition on the Swarovski brand that will showcase the brand’s rich heritage, including crystal-embellished clothing from Christian Dior, Gucci and Guo Pei and sparkling red carpet looks worn by pop icons Harry Styles and Rihanna.

The exhibition will trace a true journey through time and space through the brand’s history since 1895. Swarovski – Masters of Light is the first exploration of the heritage and essence of one of the oldest luxury brands in Europe and the world. The exhibition brings together a selection of more than 60 dresses designed by the world’s leading fashion houses. It features garments created by Alexander McQueen, Armani Privé, Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Guo Pei, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Robert Wun, Thierry Mugler, and Vivienne Westwood.
It also includes an unprecedented curation of outfits worn by global pop culture icons such as Christina Aguilera and Marilyn Monroe (courtesy of Ted Stampfer).
