In the colorful and daring world of fashion, designer María Escoté has successfully bridged the gap between rave parties and fashion runways through her iconic collaboration with Desigual, marked by the hashtag #DesigualxMariaEscote. This collaboration epitomizes the fusion of two worlds, where creativity and self-expression come to life through vibrant clothing and accessories, most of which are sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The focal point of this collection is color, with shades of red, purple, and neon green harmoniously blending with deep blacks and denim blues in various washes. The collection’s signature prints are predominantly graphic, featuring stripes, thermal vision effects, zoomed quadrichromies, and even a collage of cat images. María Escoté herself describes these prints as « one of the freakiest and riskiest we’ve ever created. » At the heart of this collaboration is a unisex sweatshirt, a coveted collector’s piece season after season, adorned with cat motifs.
