COLLINA STRADA SPRING-SUMMER 2025 COLLECTION: A PLAYFUL ODE TO NATURE

By Crash Redaction

In a vibrant and imaginative showcase at New York Fashion Week, Collina Strada unveiled its Spring-Summer 2025 collection,  titled « Touch Grass. » Set against the backdrop of the East Village’s Marble Cemetery, the show created an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a dreamlike union between mermaids and fairies. The venue, with its historical and serene ambiance, provided the perfect canvas for Hillary Taymour’s latest creations, inviting the audience to step into a whimsical world where nature and fantasy collide.

The collection, as its name suggests, is an invitation to reconnect with the natural world. Taymour encourages us to « touch grass » both literally and metaphorically, to ground ourselves and embrace the beauty of the everyday. This message was reflected in the soft and joyful palette of the collection, which featured asymmetrical dresses, watercolor-inspired gowns with fluid sleeves, and light, airy pieces. The new floral and tie-dye colors introduced by the brand captured the essence of spring and summer, evoking a sense of carefree elegance.

While the collection maintained a sense of playfulness and fantasy, it also remained accessible and wearable. The delicate sheer fabrics, floral appliqués, and strap dresses, which have become staples for the warmer months, were reinvented with Collina Strada’s signature touch of eccentricity. The result was a collection that was both dreamy and grounded, delivering a message that fashion can be both imaginative and practical.

With its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, Collina Strada continues to push the boundaries of creativity while staying true to its core values of sustainability and self-expression. The collection not only celebrates the joy of dressing up but also reminds us to stay connected to the world around us.
