DELVAUX SPRING/SUMMER 2025 COLLECTION

By Max Mendel

Delvaux’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, « The Collection: une histoire en cinq actes », unfolds in five acts, each showcasing the Maison’s rich heritage and innovative spirit. Presented during Paris Fashion Week, this season blends timeless craftsmanship with cutting-edge design and artistic collaborations.

The first act, « La Référence, un acte de l’histoire Delvaux », celebrates Delvaux’s status as the inventor of the modern handbag, with archival pieces like Le Princesse highlighting over a century of pioneering craftsmanship.

« Art Nouveau – Le Langage de la Nature » pays tribute to the flowing, organic lines of the Art Nouveau movement, with intricate floral motifs honouring the Maison’s artisanal leatherwork.

« Sur:Real – La Touche Magritte », Delvaux explores its surrealist heritage, weaving René Magritte-inspired prints and embroideries into a whimsical, dreamlike collection.

« Helios : Une Expérience Immersive avec E-Ink » introduces a revolutionary partnership with E-Ink, blending traditional leatherwork with futuristic technology, allowing bags like the Caprice and Pin to transform with the touch of a button.

The final act, « Un Dialogue avec l’Artiste », sees Delvaux collaborate with Harry Nuriev, juxtaposing industrial materials with the Maison’s sensual leather creations. This fusion of past, present, and future encapsulates Delvaux’s commitment to innovation while honouring its legacy.
