Chanel’s Courchevel boutique reopens this winter, deliberately integrating alpine architectural codes and winter sports aesthetics. The use of wood as a central material creates harmony between the boutique and its natural surroundings, while expansive windows preview silhouettes from the “Coco Neige” Fall/Winter 2024/2025 and Cruise 2024/2025 collections, inviting visitors into a carefully curated narrative.

The layout begins with a focus on handbags, transitioning into an expanded shoe salon framed by a fireplace and tweed-upholstered seating. This thoughtful arrangement blends tactile comfort with spatial precision, reflecting Chanel’s meticulous approach to design.

A dark wood counter anchors the accessories section, showcasing artisanal jewellery and finely crafted objects. Toward the rear, ready-to-wear and accessories are arranged in harmonious vignettes, integrating knitwear, outerwear, and alpine gear. Mannequins surrounded by skis and sports equipment embody Chanel’s dialogue between performance and artistry.

The expanded watch and jewellery area presents haute joaillerie and horological icons like the J12, demonstrating Chanel’s mastery of material innovation and mechanical artistry. These pieces are positioned as both aesthetic and functional explorations.

Open mid-December 2024 to mid-March 2025, the boutique acts as an ephemeral expression of Chanel’s ethos, merging craftsmanship, materiality, and seasonal storytelling in an alpine context.
