The fashion world is excited to discover Olivier Theyskens’ first collection for Haute Couture house Azzaro which is presented digitally through a stunning and flamboyant music video featuring Belgian singer/songwriter Sylvie Kreusch. Interpreting her song « Seedy Tricks », she glides on the obsessive goth melody, punctuated by tribal percussions. Dressed in a magnificent long crushed velvet dress with a slit down the front, or a perfectly tailored black coat-dress adorned with crystals, the shapeshifting artist delivers a mesmerizing, almost haunting performance. The video was directed by Lukas Dhont, who graced us with the movie Girl in 2018 – Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Carried by the heritage of Loris Azzaro, Olivier Theyskens embraces the couture know-how of the House. In a free interpretation, the designer seeks, through the apparent simplicity of the cuts, dear to the founder, to give women freedom of movement, glamour and sophistication. A new energy suddenly runs through Azzaro with a little help from Tom Eerebout at styling and Alessandro Cangelli at creative direction. Discover the video below.
