AQUILANO RIMONDI FALL WINTER 2016: A BACKSTAGE STORY
On Saturday, designers duo Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi presented their Aquilano Rimondi Fall-Winter 2016 collection in Milan. Mainly in black and white, and with shades of navy-blue and red, the collection felt very athletic, an aesthetic many designers have been craving this season. In the cuts, asymmetry was on the agenda without being too literal. This resulted in contemporary pieces for the everyday, elegant woman. For a winter collection, the pieces showed a welcomed sense of lightness and nothing felt too heavy or over-designed.
