ArdAzAei presented yesterday its 2024-2025 Couture fashion show during the Haute couture week in Paris.  Delving deep into the realms of geometry and mathematics, the creative director Bahareh Ardakani expressed her fascination with these subjects, highlighting their ability to unveil the intricate rhythms of nature. 

The collection showcases a fusion of shapes that, when laid out flat, evoke the delicate petals of a Persian rose. However, when intricately folded together, they form a mesmerizing series of interconnected loops, reflecting a sense of infinite beauty and complexity. Central to the designs are layers, pleats, and curves, all meticulously crafted to create dynamic volumes and intricate patterns that evolve as they move along the body.

One of the standout features of this collection is the incorporation of 3D-printed embroidery sequences. These unique pieces, shaped in the emblem of ArdAzAei, are custom-made for the collection and hand-embroidered onto glass beads, sequins, and crystals. This innovative technique not only adds a textured depth to the garments but also symbolically connects the collection to the concept of Calabi–Yau manifolds, further emphasizing the underlying theme of the universe’s intricate structure.

The designer’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the tailored silhouettes that define the pieces, accentuating the figure with corset shapes that embody the essence of time. Just as nature defies straight lines, time is portrayed as a nonlinear dimension, captured elegantly in the timeless pieces of the collection.
