BACKSTAGE AT CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING-SUMMER 2015 PARIS

Guests at the Dior Spring Summer 2015 show were transported through both time and space, into Raf Simon’s elegant space odyssey.  A tent within the Louvre’s Cour Carree was rendered invisible through the use of strategically placed mirrors was like stepping into a mystical portal. The collection was the perfect extension of Dior’s Haute Couture concept – a futuristic blend of the distant past. Combining 18th and 22nd century boots with an exceptionally stunning reinterpretation of Dior’s classic Bar silhouette, Simons dives back deep into the fashion archives while springing far beyond what could be considered modern, and into the future.
