DAMIR DOMA MEN’S SS17. « Never for money, always for love » – this was the name of Damir Doma’s Spring-Summer 2017 collection presented yesterday in Milan in a decadent semi-derelicted space. True to his unisex flimsy aesthetic, Damir Doma mixed raw-cuts with oversized tailored shapes for both men and women going beyond gender barriers in clothing. The key color was mustard, that gave a vibrant mood to the primarily monochrome collection. Off-white denim patchworks and long raw-cut coats embellished with triangular brooches made the collection edgy and bold while long tailored outwear and striped trenches with belts gave a balance to Damir Doma’s creations, showing his savoir-faire and craftsmanship.
