“I cannot hide my anger” was the title of the Spring Summer 2023 collection from Didu. The concept behind the collection emerged from the designer’s feelings during the recent pandemic, which were further strengthened from the frustration of closed borders, frozen cultural life, and the new state of war. 

It’s a direct reference to the Italian artist Monica Bonvini’s work of the same name in which she explores ruthless political statements, the impact of institutional decisions on society as well as on conditions of artistic productions.

In this collection, camouflage colors and military type prints complemented Didu’s usual daring and revealing cuts, almost using skin as a fabric. Straightforward prints came with belts that do not enclose the body but are part of an armor to face the world.
