DIESEL BLACK GOLD FW16: A BACKSTAGE STORY
Moving back to Milan after years of showing in New York was a good move for Diesel Black Gold. This Friday, creative director Andreas Melbostad presented a collection synonymous of new intentions and a recovered youth. The overall look is sleek and textures are rich. Opening the show with a series of minidresses and skirts mixing velvet, leather, or Lurex, the collection evolves with a strong aesthetic supported by thigh-high, laced-up leather boots paired with high-waisted skirts and statement leather jackets. Towards the end, the collection takes an evening turn with an added subtlety and shine.
