BACKSTAGE AT DIOR MEN SUMMER 2025 FASHION SHOW

Dior presented its Men’s Summer 2025 collection yesterday, during Men’s Paris Fashion week.

Imagined by Kim Jones, this latest collection is a captivating dialogue between couture and artistry, inspired by the motifs and monumentalism of South African artist Hylton Nel. Jones, meticulously weaves these influences into a tapestry of innovative designs that pay homage to traditional craftsmanship.

At the heart of this collection are silhouettes sculpted with the precision of ceramist, showcasing both practical and sculptural curves. The pieces are adorned with drawings, prints, and ceramic fastenings, all elements inspired by Nel’s artistic universe.

The collection’s tailoring and outerwear features oversized trousers, flared shorts, Blazer jackets accessorized with rigid ceramic collars, and embroidered flower and animal jackets, creating sensual cuts that are both modern and timeless. Footwear, particularly the traditional workwear clog, is reimagined with a contemporary twist, blending the utilitarian with the elegant.
