Triangle, circles and squares. Geometrical patterns are the common thread of this Emporio Armani Fall Winter 2016 collection, presented yesterday in Milan. Giorgio Armani is hinting to a slightly Eighties-inspired look in the pops of color, the sharp power-suits, and the graphic inspiration. When put together on short-sleeved, striped pullovers, the geometrical forms seem to create a winking face – a definite youthful touch to the collection, which also features some statement eyewear. The Emporio Armani woman may be an example of Italian class and distinction, but she’s also free not to take herself too seriously, and that’s the key to her success.
