EMPORIO ARMANI MEN’S SS17: A BACKSTAGE STORY

On Day 4 of Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani presented his Emporio Armani spring-summer 2017 menswear collection. Looking at a more athletic aesthetic, the collection (with impressive total of 88 looks) shows an elegant selection of both casual wear and tailoring. Successively, the main colors of the collection (navy, vibrant red, and olive green) gave the rhythm to the show, and the mix of patterns found on denim trousers and jackets added an other layer of texture. The fingerprint was the main motif here: displayed as an all-over print on the opening tee-shirt, it replicated towards the end of the show as the affirmation of the Emporio Armani identity.
