BACKSTAGE AT FENDI FALL-WINTER 2015 MILAN
By Crash redaction
Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi went big for this Fendi Fall-Winter 2015 collection. Doutzen Kroes opened the show in a long off-white two-button coat, which was a good representation of what was to come. This season, Karl Lagerfeld played with the placement of leather panels on the sides of mid-calf long skirts. Leather tops resembled moderns aprons in black or brown, and accessorized with Peekaboo bags and clutches with tropical flowers, the models could have been mistaken for highly elegant gardeners. As nature-inspirered as it may have felt, the collection was still very luxurious with the use of fur on coats, pants, even the high-heeled boots.
