BACKSTAGE AT J.W. ANDERSON MENSWEAR SPRING-SUMMER 2016 LONDON
By Crash redaction
On this third day of London Collections Men, Jonathan Anderson presented his spring-summer 2016 collection for his eponymous brand. The collection felt like an ingenious gathering of ideas, like a workshop were the designer felt free to experiment. Among asymmetrical knits to which were attached small cushions behind the elbows, the collection showed a range of printed pieces and sheer tops that gave the ensemble a « zen » look. As for the accessories, some of the broaches created a link with Anderson’s last resort collection, while the metal frames some of the models were carrying could remind of a souvenirs box, where one likes to hang little objects that are precious for the soul.
