BACKSTAGE AT KENZO MENSWEAR SPRING-SUMMER 2016 PARIS

This season, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim take us on a trip to the desert. Literally. For the Kenzo Men’s Spring-Summer 2016 show, the creative duo brought the desert to the Paris Event Center in La Villette. Rotating rocks were shining with silver lights in between sand dunes and created a very nomadic atmosphere – almost extra-terrestrial. The collection was in the tones of the set: sand colors, fluid shapes and technical fabrics gave it its incredible utilitarian quality. As always, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim show how much they master the art of making us travel through time and space while showing us what we’ll need next season.
