LOUIS VUITTON MEN’S SS17: THE BEAUTY

Louis Vuitton opened this second day of menswear collections in Paris with a show organized under the sun in the capital’s 1st arrondissement. Always imbued with the spirit of travel, creative director Kim Jones delivered a collection that mixed elegance and technicality. Strips of fabrics on some pairs of trousers accentuated this inspiration, and so did snap hooks sported as accessories. Monogrammed bags are worn over the shoulder or as backpacks. Coats and trenches are found in many variations but share a diagonal strap as front closure – showing Jones’ approach to finding new ways of comfort and style.
