MARCO DE VINCENZO SS17: A BACKSTAGE STORY
Marco de Vincenzo is making a splash in Milan with his bold and colorful aesthetic. For his Spring-Summer 2017 collection, the Sicilian designer took inspiration from a Riviera feeling, which infused his silhouettes with a sense of glamour. De Vincenzo is a king of textures and a master of colors. Fringes are a common thread in this collection and flourish on V-neck dresses, coats, and skirts. Bird motifs even emerge from the fringes here and there and enhance the magical appeal the collection has. Some of the silhouettes have that Flamenco feel, like the sheer dresses with ruffled sleeves. Accessories are all stand-out pieces, especially the multicolored satin boots and of course Marco de Vincenzo very own handbag.
