MARGARET HOWELL AW16 MEN’S COLLECTION: A BACKSTAGE STORY

This season, the Margaret Howell men’s collection, which was presented on the third day of London Collections Men, exuded ease. With perfectly cut trousers paired with black ankle boots, and wool jumpers tucked in the waist, an overall relaxed attitude seemed to represent the collection. Some of the models even walked with their hands on their jacket’s or trouser’s pockets, as if they were actually going somewhere. With a total of 25 polished silhouettes, Margaret Howell once again gives a lesson of elegance. Howell’s classics are best represented, like the essential macintosh as well as the outerwear. As for the accessories, bicolor scarves, beanies and backpacks added an almost nomadic aesthetic to the collection.
