BACKSTAGE AT MAX MARA FALL-WINTER 2015

On Thursday, February 26th, Max Mara presented their Fall-Winter 2015-16 collection in Milan. The collection was an ode to femininity and referenced the effortless beauty of Marilyn Monroe. On the runway, most of the models walked with their arms crossed on their unbuttoned overcoats, sometimes with their handbags hanging on one arm. Is the Max Mara girl hiding a secret? The posture says it all, and inevitably creates the desire to discover more. The « it pieces » of this collection were undeniably the coats. Long and mysterious, they come in a great range of tones, from camel to grey and nude, textures – fur indeed – and even prints.
