MISSONI SS17: A BACKSTAGE STORY
For spring, Missoni explores the versatile essence of its emblematic knits. With a series of tank dresses that adhere to the body, the Italian House creates an universe where elegance is expressed at its most pure and most informal level. The silhouette is elongated and tied at the waist, and a juxtaposition of patterns and colors create a result that is so appealing to the eye, while color-blocking associations meet tiger stripes on textured knits. The collection feels exotic and has that kind of aquatic feel: the models wear their hair sleek and pulled back as if they were coming out of the water. Big circle earring have that talismanic quality and respond well to the richness of the clothes.
