MSGM MEN’S SS17: A BACKSTAGE STORY

Massimo Giorgetti definitely knows what’s on trend. His Spring-Summer 2017 menswear collection is 90s-infused and exudes the essence of youth. It feels dynamic and contemporary. Maybe because the models looked as if they just came back from a 5-mile run, their hair wet (seemingly sweaty) and their tracksuits on point. Such styling gave the collection an even greater impact. It felt very sporty, yet current. The first jumpers had that college boy quality, and paired with raw denim trousers, they completely fitted in the 90s vibe. Denim is indeed a great part of the collection, and the washed-out pieces resonated with the blurry, multicolored prints that could either be interpreted as flowers or intergalactic clouds. As for accessories, they strenghten the athletic aesthetic with pouches haning out from snap hooks and straps worn across the chest.
