For his Spring-Summer 2017 collection presentation in Milan, Alessandro Dell’Acqua decided to make a tribute to freedom and youth culture. The presentation was realized in collaboration with models, who chose in a very natural way their own outfits reinterpreting every piece in their own personal style for a fresh result. Colorful perfecto jackets were paired with oversized trousers while loose checked shirts and Elvis’ printed T-shirts with comfortable jogging trousers and shorts. Loose striped and oversized sweaters with a red No21 logo in the front gave a final touch to the whole collection, reinterpreting the classic french marinière in an edgy way perfectly in line with the House street style influenced identity. Open black sandals with visible metal buckles were paired with red and yellow socks which reminded us to rock and skater culture, while black and white sneakers in the same style with raw denim or colorful trousers. For the first time, Alessandro dell’Acqua created Petite Taille, a scaled down womenswear line reproducing the whole collection in women sizes in order to allow girls to have pieces of the collection in the right fit.
