BERTRAND GUYON IS SCHIAPARELLI’S NEW DIRECTOR OF STYLE

By Crash redaction

It has been announced today: Bertrand Guyon is Schiaparelli’s new Director of Style. Guyon, whose first Haute Couture collection for the historic fashion house will be shown during Paris Fashion Week in July, will be in charge of both Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Couture collections. He will be working in the emblematic Schiaparelli studio located on Place Vendôme where Elsa Schiaparelli herself used to design her collections.

Originating from France, Bertrand Guyon is a graduate of the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. He has long worked at Givenchy under Hubert de Givenchy himself and then John Galliano. Guyon also counts experiences at Alexander McQueen, Christian Lacroix and Valentino on his resumé. No doubt his creativity and strong sense of fashion will guide him through a successful collaboration with the House of Schiaparelli and we can’t wait to discover his interpretation of its innovative and artistic fashion.
