BOTTEGA VENETA MENSWEAR SS 2015 MILAN
By Crash redaction
Last Sunday during Milan Fashion Week, Tomas Maier showed his latest collection for Bottega Veneta, a collection that was inspired by « freedom and movement ». Simplicity and refinement were in order, as models walked by in loose, comfortable cachemire knitwear. The mood of the collection was emphasized by the color palette chosen: from navy blue to beige, pale pink and peach, it was as if the sun had bleached them for a more subtle effect. Light pants that were pulled up gave the collection an even more easy and summery feel. After the show, Maier said he was looking to provide a certain idea of freedom by creating pieces that are both athletic and confortable. A vision that he succeeded in transmitting particularly with the accessories he offered, namely practical suede backpacks or bags with crocodile leather details.
