Yesterday, June 9, 2023 Bulgari opened its new luxurious Hotel in the center of Rome.

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is honored to announce the opening of this new hotel, Bulgari Hotel Roma, at 10 Piazza Augusto Imperatore. The Bulgari Hotel Roma is the ninth jewel in Bulgari Hotels & Resorts’ global collection and the second in Italy.
It is located in the Campo Marzio district, just steps away from the historic Bulgari Boutique on Via Condotti.

Last night Bulgari organized an exceptional evening for the hotel’s inauguration where more than six hundred guests were present; during the evening there was no shortage of different performances ranging from dancing to music. Among the guests were a number of Bulgari ambassadors, including internationally renowned actresses Zendaya and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos.

The hotel has 114 rooms and 48 luxurious suites designed by Milan-based ACPV Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel architectural firm, which is also responsible for the other eight Bulgari Hotels & Resorts worldwide.
Rome-based Studio Polis-architect Gennaro Farina-designed and supervised the restoration of the building and participated in the construction of the new hotel. The building that houses the hotel is an example of rationalist architecture.
The hotel is located in a historic site of great symbolic value, opposite the Mausoleum of Augustus-a circular tomb dating back to the first century-and the Ara Pacis-an altar celebrating the period of peace that the emperor was able to impose, the Pax Romana.
The link between the Bulgari Hotel Roma and the historical era of Emperor Augustus is accentuated by the presence of the Statue of Augustus, an original Roman sculpture in Pentelic marble from the Torlonia collection. Placed in the center of the entrance hall, this statue is the first in a series of five, the restoration of which was funded by Bulgari.
