CAMPER JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

By Crash

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, Camper has been working with local authorities to determine how they can help. As a family-run business with a strong Mallorcan heritage, they believe it’s both their duty and responsibility to use their ressources and technology to help those in need and make a difference in these trying times.

As a start, the Camper 3D printers have been set to produce necessary components for the fabrication of medical visors. They are also planning on beginning the production of special pieces used for respirators.

Due to the decontamination process, medical professionals have been throwing away countless pairs of their own shoes. To help, Camper has been giving away shoes to hospitals throughout the region, including pairs of our Wabi slippers for sick patients. The company has also been thinking about the social aspect of this crisis. As a way to connect affected individuals with their families during this unprecedented time, iPads from Camper stores have been made available to local hospitals. They are also looking into how they can take advantage of their supply chain and contacts in China to quickly acquire additional medical materials and equipment.
