CARHARTT SS25 MARSEILLE PORTSIDE

By Iris JEANSON

Carhartt WIP’s introduces its latest editorial Portside featuring the Spring Summer 2025 collection. Lensed by Bettina Pittaluga in the phocaean city, the collections merges archival influences and natural textures, which exist in parallel with the technical fabrications and outdoor-inspired elements. Much like the city of Marseille itself, the Spring Summer 2025 collection bears vestiges of the past while looking to the present, reflecting a landscape shaped by convergence and distinctions.

Natural cotton and hemp featured in breezy long-sleeve shirts, knitted polos, and relaxed-fit pants, are contrasted by technical polyester poplin pieces with an allover duck camo motif. A fresh take on Carhartt WIP’s signature hickory stripe is seen the Women’s Hendry Coat and Tote, crafted from raw, undyed canvas. The collection also revives the ‘heart’ patch on garment-dyed jersey in indigo blue.

Known for her documentary-style photography, Bettina Pittaluga brings authenticity and intimacy to the editorial, reflecting the brand’s deep cultural ties. Since 1994, Carhartt WIP has evolved beyond workwear, embedding itself in skateboarding, music, and art communities worldwide.

The Portside collection is available now at select Carhartt WIP retailers and online.
