Celine offers a glimpse of what’s to come in their upcoming Saint Tropez collection. Black and white images carry a nomadic spirit, a sense of freedom, the unknown. Hedi Sliman captures Lulu at the Villa Kerouac in Ramatuelle as well as recording in the idyll of Saint Tropez for an upcoming campaign film.  

On the catwalk a renaissance of the 2000s, as Slimane’s harks back silhouette classics of the naughties, giving us easy breezy boho chic, skinny jeans, and pirate-cross-sailor aesthetic.  Same, same but different, a new take on the staples of that decade.  

And, who else to soundtrack but Carl Barat & Pete Doherty; longtime friends of Slimane, and frontmen of the epochal British rock group The Libertines? Music was a familiar scene for the designer who regularly dressed and shot portraits of British and American rock groups in the 2000s. 

Nostalgia for the naughties? That’s hot.
