LE MARAIS WELCOMES TWO CHANEL POP-UP STORES THIS WINTER
Chanel is set to open a double ephemeral boutique in Le Marais, a hip and dynamic neighborhood in the heart of Paris. Packed with art galleries and trendy shops, the neighborhood offers the perfect setting for Chanel pop-up stores. Situated in the Hôtel Amelot de Bisseuil, the pair of boutiques convey a new vision of shopping through an extremely minimalistic interior design, which spotlights the building’s rich heritage by accenting its antique floor and stone walls. In fact, the Hôtel Amelot de Bisseuil is a historic building that has played host to opulent receptions and soirées since its construction in 1657. French dramatist and revolutionary Beaumarchais even called the building home at the end of the 18th century. Karl Lagerfeld’s visionary creations will lend a touch of modernity to a building replete with history as Chanel takes over the space from December to May.
