COMME DES GARÇONS FW25 COLLECTION

By Elise TOIDE

SMALLER IS STRONGER

Recently we feel that big business, big culture, global systems, world structures maybe are not so great after all. There is also strong value in small. Small can be mighty.

Precision over excess. Independence over mass appeal. The collection strips things down to their essence. Thierry Dreyfus’ lighting, Takeo Arai’s hair and makeup, and a sculptural headpiece by Nobuki Hizume set the tone. The soundscape, mixed by Ugo Nardini (ADC303), reinforces the statement.

This season also unveils three collaborations: three silhouettes by Philéo Landowski, alongside pieces with Salomon and Mizuno, bridging avant-garde fashion with technical performance.
