Converse announces a fantastic collaboration with multi-disciplinary athlete and artist Alexis Sablone. Over the past year, Alexis has collaborated with Converse to design a new shoe like few other athletes know how to do!
Bridging the worlds of skateboarding and design, Alexis has developed a unique perspective.

The AS-1 Pro takes the aesthetics and engineering of Converse’s 1980s terrain and sneakers but adds the ingenuity of a safe shoe and most importantly, assured performance.
The sneaker is appropriate for both skate and streetstyle and was designed by Alexis for exactly this use. This is the brand’s first pair to feature a performance skateboard cup sole. Designed with a new core called « Grasshopper » integrated into the sole for better shock absorption and optimal board feel.

The AS-1 Pro will debut globally on May 2nd, 2023, with additional colorways scheduled for June 2nd, 2023 on Converse.com and at select international retailers.
