CONVERSE TEAMS UP WITH FRAGMENT FOR « WEAPON » COLLABORATION DESIGN

The Converse Weapon has its origins in sports, specifically basketball in the late 1980′.
Since then, a community has formed around this model, even though it has only been available for two years.

Converse has always been involved and supported by the different communities of disciplines such as sports, art and music. One of the Brand’s main goals is to unite and strengthen different communities by speaking to different generations of creatives!

Combining streetwear pioneer Hiroshi Fujiwara through Fragment design with a cutting-edge silhouette, Converse presents this new version of the authentic Weapon.
The capsule remains authentic to Fragment’s minimalist aesthetic and original shoe shape with a classic blue and black sport color scheme. The FRGMNT logo is embossed on the side heel, true to the original shape of the weapon, while the woven leather tongue features the original Converse Weapon label.

Complementing the collaboration is also an apparel capsule consisting of a varsity jacket, a sweatshirt and two different T-shirts.

The Converse x FRGMT Weapon and related textile capsule will be available as a limited edition on Converse.com and at select retailers starting May 11, 2023.
