CRASH 42 BEAUTY LEA SEYDOUX IS NOW A JAMES BOND GIRL

By Crash redaction

Take a look back at our editorial with Seydoux for Crash 42, the first ever feature in a magazine editorial for the then 21-year-old actress!

It’s been a while since we met young French actress Léa Seydoux along with Jérémie Elkaïm for the 42st issue of Crash dedicated to love. At that time, Seydoux was only 21 and was starting to grow in the film industry. Looking at this pure beauty and incredible talent, we knew she was promised to do great things in cinema and that she would shine like the star she is today. Now 29, Léa Seydoux has starred in many acclaimed movies such as Christophe Honoré’s « The Beautiful Person » (La Belle Personne, 2008), the role that launched her career. Most notably, she played the lead role in « Blue Is The Warmest Colour » directed by Abbellatif Kechiche and awarded by the Palme d’Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. In the film, Seydoux embodies an aspiring painter involved in a dramatic romance with Adèle, the character played by fellow cast member Adèle Exarchopoulos. Going to one box-office success to an other, Léa Seydoux even conquered Hollywood and played in Woody Allen’s « Midnight in Paris ». Today, she makes a splash as a very convincing Loulou de la Falaise in Bertrand Bonello’s « Saint Laurent », currently in theaters. This year, Léa Seydoux may have reached the highest point of her career as she was chosen to be the next James Bond girl alongside Daniel Craig in the upcoming « James Bond » movie.
