Design Miami is announcing the debut of its first Paris-based design fair.

The event will showcase historical and contemporary collectible design pieces from leading Parisian and international galleries from 17-23 October at L’hôtel de Maisons. As a sister fair to Art Basel, the inaugural edition of Design Miami/Paris will coincide with Paris+ par Art Basel and join our flagship fairs in Basel and Miami Beach.

The Paris edition follows a long history of collaborations with renowned galleries and partners across the city and demonstrates Design Miami’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a growing global design community. Jen Roberts, CEO of Design Miami, explicitly said that the French capital has always had a huge impact for Design Miami as it is home to many of the renowned galleries, partners and brands that have been integral to the study and evolution of this market.

The venue for the big event is L’hôtel de Maisons, a historic mansion with courtyard and garden located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a cultural hub that is home to many of the world’s leading collectible design galleries.
