DIESEL RED TAG PROJECT BY SHAYNE OLIVER

By Crash redaction

A new collaborative series has just been launched by Diesel during PFW: the Diesel Red Tag Project kicks off with Shayne Oliver as one of “the most groundbreaking and radical international designers” says Renzo Rosso. Oliver is the first designer to be invited to merge his aesthetic and sensibility interpreting Diesel’s signatures: denim and sportswear. The cutting-edge designer ‘s  just presented the capsule collection during a PFW event with live performances of talents and DJs that took place in an industrial two level space in Paris’ Rive Gauche. The looks include cropped and squared-off jackets along with a variety of unconventional and unorthodox denim pant cuts. For the first time in Diesel’s history, the pieces also feature the company’s globally recognized red logo. “This capsule is really the language of Renzo, the brand founder. Refined razor sharp denim aesthetics that devours the excesses of trendiness,” commented Oliver who gets a chance to further express his talents thanks to the global brand willing to fully engage with the talent and inspiration of the news generations that, Rosso pursues, “have a soul and speak the language of today”. Definitely one highlight of Diesel’s series of global initiatives to be closely followed.
