HONG-KONG, APRIL 22ND – DIOR HOMME FALL-WINTER 2016 SHOW

On April 22nd Dior Homme showed his Fall-Winter 2016 collection in Hong Kong, following the presentations in Beijing, Shangai and Guangzhou. The « Art of falling apart » show was presented in the Shaw Studio: the venue was decorated with led screens playing red coloured films by Willy Vanderperre who especially conceived the project for the live show in Hong Kong. On another note, Club Cheval performed a live acoustic set at the after party mixing various electronic sub-genres. Taking inspiration from the idea of the hybrid and the eternal question of individual growth in the present without nostalgia, the collection was given a rock-underground vibe reinterpreting the new wave and skate culture in a contemporary way. Noble materials contrasted with new technologies and urban style mixed with luxurious textures.
